« Tubabulures » est un paysage sensoriel à destination de la petite enfance, prenant place dans la Station 0.2 du Centre Pompidou à Paris. L’installation présente une déclinaison contrastée de tubes, grands et petits, lourds et légers, lisses et texturés, bruyants ou silencieux. Les enfants y sont invités à « faire le bazar », à toucher et éparpiller ce répertoire d’éléments étranges, « Tubabulures », « Gonflabulures », « Moubulures ». Le dispositif cherche à s’adapter au rythme de l’éveil sensoriel et cognitif des enfants entre 0 et 2 ans, en insistant sur des contrastes clair-obscur assez intenses, une dimension sonore omniprésente, et un vocabulaire de formes curvilignes et visuellement stimulantes. Au travers cette manipulation de formes, de sons, et de couleurs, le très jeune public du Musée prend finalement une part active dans la création d’un tableau spatial en constante métamorphose.

"Tubabulures" is a sensory landscape for young children, taking place in the Station 0.2 of the Centre Pompidou Museum in Paris. The installation presents a contrasted declination of tubes, big and small, heavy and light, smooth and textured, noisy or silent. Children are invited to "make a mess", to touch and scatter this repertoire of strange elements, "Tubabulures", "Gonflabulures", "Moubulures". The device seeks to adapt to the rhythm of the sensory and cognitive growth of children between 0 and 2 years, by insisting on intense light-dark contrasts, an omnipresent sound dimension, and a vocabulary of curvilinear and visually stimulating forms. Through this manipulation of shapes, sounds, and colors, the Museum's very young audience finally takes an active part in the creation of a spatial tableau in constant metamorphosis.

"Design Brut" est un programme spécial de co-création visant à engager les enfants dans pratique du design. Lors de la première édition de ce projet créé par la Galerie Philia, BehaghelFoiny a collaboré avec une classe d'école primaire de Breil-sur-Roya en Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, afin de créer une collection de meubles. Les pièces, dessinées et imaginées par les enfants, ont été réalisées dans le bois d'olivier local. Le projet « Design Brut » fait référence à la notion d'"Art Brut" que l'artiste français Jean Dubuffet employait pour décrire les pratiques artistiques ayant court en dehors de la tradition académique des beaux arts, et décrivant une manière d’avantage spontanée et primaire de créer et de produire des formes.
Cette philosophie a inspiré Ygaël Attali, fondateur de la Galerie Philia, à trouver des moyens de stimuler la réflexion sur le design au-delà des conventions académiques, au travers des expériences collectives et locales.
Ce projet expérimentale a donné lieu à la réalisation d’un court-métrage inédit, ainsi qu’à une exposition accueillie par l’Espace Meyer Zafra à Paris.

"Design Brut" is a special co-creation program aimed at engaging children in the practice of design. In the first edition of this project created by Galerie Philia, we collaborated with an elementary school class from Breil-sur-Roya in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, to create a collection of furniture. The pieces, drawn and imagined by the children, were made from local olive wood. The « Design Brut » project was inspired by the notion of "Art Brut", which the French artist Jean Dubuffet used to describe artistic practices outside of the academic tradition of fine arts, describing a more direct and emotional way of creating and producing forms.
This philosophy inspired Ygaël Attali, founder of Galerie Philia, to find ways to stimulate design practice beyond academic conventions, through collective and local experiences.
This experimental project led to the production of an original short film, as well as an exhibition hosted by the Espace Meyer Zafra in Paris.

La collection « Tubulures » est un répertoire fantasmatique de pièces de mobilier tubulaires. Ces objets sculpturaux sont produits à partir de tubes semi-industriels, tordus, empâtés et colorés à la main. La silhouette tubulaire se décline alors indéfiniment en lampes, en bougeoir, ou en assises. Au travers la série « Tubulures », BehaghelFoiny dresse un décor joyeux et singulier, qui secoue sans discretion la morosité de nos univers domestiques.

The "Tubulures" collection is a fantastical repertoire of tubular furniture pieces. These sculptural objects are produced from semi-industrial tubes, twisted, and covered with colored plaster by hand. The tubular silhouette is then declined indefinitely into lamps, candleholders, or seats. Through the "Tubulures" series, BehaghelFoiny creates a joyful and singular decor, which shakes up the gloom of our domestic universe without discretion.

A l’occasion de l’exposition « Erotish » de la Chapelle XIV, BehaghelFoiny lance la collection « Tube Story ». Cette série d’objets tubulaires prend la forme d’un répertoires d’histoires et de narrations intimes. Au sein de ce cabinet de curiosité, le tube oscille entre quincaillerie, jouet, bijoux, et fétiche, pour susciter une divagation domestique.

Participation in the group exhibition « Erotish »

On the occasion of the exhibition "Erotish" at the Chapelle XIV, BehaghelFoiny launches the collection "Tube Story". This series of tubular objects takes the form of a repertoire of stories and intimate narratives. Within this cabinet de curiosités, the tube oscillates between hardware, toy, jewelry, and fetish, in order to provoke a domestic rambling.
